Who We Are
We’re the people who laugh at our own jokes, whisper “what the hell am I doing?” at least once a day, and believe sarcasm is a survival skill. Release the Dorken was born from a deep desire to say the things everyone’s thinking, but on t-shirts, mugs, and stuff your boss probably won’t understand.
If you’ve ever used humor as a defense mechanism or said “I’m fine” with unconvincing enthusiasm, welcome home.
What Does 'Release the Dorken' Even Mean?
Great question! Is it a verb? A battle cry? A movement?
Yes.
Releasing the Dorken is about embracing your awkward, owning your weird, and letting your inner chaos goblin thrive. It’s wearing a shirt that says exactly what you’re too tired to say out loud. It's the opposite of pretending to have your life together.
Our Mission (If You Can Call It That)
Making the world slightly weirder and way more fun, one shirt at a time.
We want to make people laugh, nod in recognition, and maybe snort a little. Our goal is simple:
- Normalize the cringe.
- Promote genuine self-expression.
- Put more joy (and unhinged energy) into the world. One shirt at a time.
But Like…
Why a Store?
Because the internet needs more places to buy clothes that say:
- “I’ve peaked and it was a Wednesday.”
- "Drop it like a klutz."
- "Too fat to strip. Too broke to quit.”
- "My anxiety has anxiety.”
And honestly? I couldn't find t-shirts that expressed what I wanted wear and embrace. So we made our own weird little corner.
